In preparation for having your project mastered, please consider the following:


¤ I can accept the following formats:

• WAV or AIFF files (16bit 44.1 kHz – 24bit 96 kHz) via data CD, flash drive or the internet
• audio CD (not recommended if source is higher resolution than 16bit 44.1 kHz)

¤ Book your mastering session as soon as possible. Extra time will ensure that we don’t need to rush through any steps,which could potentially degrade the final product.


¤ Unless dynamics processing is necessary to improve the sound of a mix, please do not apply compression prior to submitting your mix.   If possible, leave the dynamic range intact, with plenty of headroom (around -3 db in the loudest sections).


¤ Remember to back up the mix master before mailing.


¤ Try to bounce your mixes at the same sample rate and bit depth as the mix project, without using dither.
