“The instrumentation is key, as it provides the contrast these vocals desperately need. Unlike most electronic bands, Metroid doesn’t let them overpower their music; a delicate balance has been struck between the electronics and standard instruments, and they do well not to upset it.  “I’m On the List” is the most driven track of the EP. The first verse bursts into the chorus with a flourish, and the effect is marvelous.”
